What we store

• Church accounts: church name, the email you give us, languages, glossary, settings and minutes used, to run and bill the service.
• Caption text: the recognised sermon text and its translations, kept for 48 hours so late listeners can catch up, then deleted automatically.
• Anonymous usage events: page views, tool uses, sign-ups and button clicks with a daily-rotating pseudonymous id (a hash of IP address and browser), kept up to 400 days to understand how the product is used. No cookies, no ad trackers.

What we don't store

Audio. Speech recognition runs in the booth's browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge send audio to their own speech service under their terms; SermonLive never receives audio). Listeners don't create accounts.

Processors

Amazon Web Services (hosting, database and the AI translation models via Amazon Bedrock) in the EU (Frankfurt).
